I think I've read one other Mary Higgins Clark novel when I was a teenager but I can't remember the title or the plot. It was a fast read, I just blew through it. Used Book A Thon: read a book that cost $2 or lessĭespite having a title that sounds like child porn, this book was Okay. Rob is sentenced to life in prison, but He is released on parole after 23 years. The story begins when Andrea, the older sister of seven-year-old Elie Cavana, is murdered, and Eli testifies in court against nineteen-year-old Rob Westerfield, one of the three main suspects.
